Description

(Forsythia intermedia x 'Lynwood Gold') Height: 8 - 10'

A heavy bloomer that produces a profusion of yellow flowers in the early spring, before its leaves emerge. This variety has a more upright growth habit than most forsythia. A rapid-growing plant, forsythia is often used to create a low-maintenance, dense hedge. Will tolerate almost any soil condition, although it prefers loose, well-drained soils high in organic matter and partial to full sun.
